The Wick Burns in Suspicious Fire

As I was heading home from work last night (early saturday morning to be correct), I could see a huge plume of smoke rising at the south-end of Talbot St.

Fire crews and police had cordoned off several city blocks worth of access, but from what it seemed, the Wick was in flames :(

The picture below (shot during the day) shows the aftermath...

Below is a link to the Freeps article which is currently online, and shall be in tomorrow's paper... (yeah, the freeps sorta sucks, but hey)...

Scatterchat

Many of us use some sort of instant messaging client (MSN, ICQ etc.), so I thought the following link on a new client called Scatterchat would be of use. Platforms including Linux, Mac OS and M$ Windows are covered available as well.

Scatterchat:

"ScatterChat is a HACKTIVIST WEAPON designed to allow non-technical human rights activists and political dissidents to communicate securely and anonymously while operating in hostile territory. It is also useful in corporate settings, or in other situations where privacy is desired.

It is a secure instant messaging client (based upon the Gaim software) that provides end-to-end encryption, integrated onion-routing with Tor, secure file transfers, and easy-to-read documentation."  read more »
