Hey, I am looking for a button maker to bring to Honduras with me. I am going there to do art with the local kids and i think they would enjoy the toy and it is something they can keep.

Is there such thing as a plastic one? vs the heaviness of a metal one.

Does anyone have one i might be able to take with me? Or one they don't use that i can buy or where i could find a cheap button maker.

This is a rather amuzing article about banning trans fats in NYC. I never even thought of that. I love it.

The opinion of some of the ppl interviewed is that it is a serious matter of choice if their fast food has extremely unhealthy fats in it.

I have been asked to post the way that i maintain soft skin in an ethical, economical and environmentally friendly fashion. I was taught how to do this by a wonderful lady that i care so much for miss luzma. Some of you might remember her as the yoga instructor from the regional social forum.

1. Go to a health food store like 'grain and bean's' and pick up some calendula flowers (they are in the dried section) and some grape seed oil - extra virgin olive oil also works well -

2. In a grinder/ pestle and motar / or with your hands pulverize the calendual petals to a state of powder.

I was just reading this article about peace activist in Israel and I thought i would share it. This article states that there are very dedicated men and women that oppose the violence Lebanon is facing. They are within the very country which is waging this war and this makes me feel better about yesterdays rally. I do hope that they can struggle on with there peaceful cause amidst all the harassment from the other 90% of the country that agrees with the ocupation.

As some of you know i am in montreal for a while on the U of M campus trying to improve my french.. (which is going very well)... I checked out the internet for something interesting to do this weekend and found that a rally was being held in outrage of the harper government and it's lack of support to help put an end to the war/killing/crimes/hate going on between israel,lebanon,palestine,usa... i was super hyped to go out....

 After getting to the rally and hearing the agressive, angry and hateful chants .. i attempted to  shout chants for peace and non violence .... and eventually just focused on trying to capture this whole thing on film... 

As to keep up to date with the state of the pesticide ban in London. A 4-3 vote was cast last night recommending the ban of cosmetic pesticide use. The article printed shows the very saddening perspectives of London locals that are against the ban. It seems this is an attack on their industry and not a plea for the sake of our health and the planet. *sad face*

My friend Kota and i put a box in the office of our school asking for supply donations for Caledonia. I left my email as a contact for any information or cash donations. I received this not so friendly letter from a member of the staff today and thought that others could also take part in responding to this woman. I am not the biggest fan of conflict and i would gather this agressive woman is not going to take me seriously. Therefore i thought it best if others also contributed to educating this angry local of Caledonia.
