I had to look up what a petaflop is, and I still don't quite get it, but I think I 've grasped it enough to know that it's really fast (10 to the power of 15 flops - a calculator averages about 10 flops).  read more »

I just stumbled across a very interesting 2D physics simulation program.
I have never seen anything like it before and I think it's really interesting.

So apparently they are attempting to develop a vaccine to treat cocaine addiction.. should be interesting...

I just stumbled upon a series of spoofs of the famous pc-mac commercials from a little while ago.

Unlike all the other spoofs, these really cracked me up. It could perhaps have a little to do with the apperance the embodiment of linux.
