Matti and I went to the London Blogger/Podcaster Meetup last night at Molly Blooms, and we were joined a bit later by Rachel and Mike. There were a bunch of really friendly local bloggers, about a 12-15 people all together. I also got to meet Greg who posts here quite regularly in person for the first time.

A lot of people brought business cards to the event. I unfortunately didn't have any business cards myself or for the LC.

People seemed pretty interested in the site, so hopefully we'll have a few new members soon. read more »

London Indie Media Fair 2008

Central Library, 251 Dundas St.

The Third Annual London Indie Media Fair will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 1 - 5 pm in the Stevenson-Hunt rooms at the Central Branch of the London Public Library. Last year was a tremendous success, and we expect it to grow again this year.

The room will be filled with people showing, selling and trading their independent media, including zines, comics, silkscreened patches, posters, literature / art / political content, local music, photography, film, and online media. read more »
