From seizures of cameras and buses, to police raids of organizing groups, the appearance of the National Guard, to weird explosions, to two Democracy Now! producers being arrested, and now Amy Goodman arrested as well, chaos is breaking out in Minneapolis. Civil rights violations abound.

While I was stopped in Guelph today, I found out about a not-for-profit artist-run centre called Ed Video. It aims to support media artists and independent productions in Southwest Ontario. They maintain an extensive equipment pool with video cameras, lighting equipment, audio eqiupment, editing software, etc. and editing suits. They also provide workshops on all sorts of subjects such as production, post-production, shooting, equipment orientations, writing, editing and more. and finally, they also offer funding assistance.
