Carbon Counted
This is a labelling insinuative, similar to Fair-trade labelling, aims to hi-light the carbon footprint involved in bringing a given product to market. right now there's only a handful of companies signed on, but it will be interesting to see how the concept catches on. This particular organisation seems to be based in Toronto. read more »

How can I save some water?

Dear myself,

Well, I just saw this on CBC... when you have your shower, keep the plug in the drain. when your done, save the shower water and collect it in a container (such as a large rubbermade container). Turn off the water to the tank on your toilet. use the shower water in the tiolet tank when you need to flush...
