Every Tuesday night, 94.9 CHRW & Grooves Records present...

DJ Rob Gordon & DJ Fraggle Rock play all the best indie rock and electronic music that's big in the UK right now. Whether it's from London, New York, Montreal, Stockholm, Tokyo, wherever. If you can dance to it, we'll play it!

Although the focus is on newer music, we also throw in some great stuff from the past... garage rock from the 60's, to glam rock and punk from the 70's, to 80's new wave, to 90's Brit pop.

There's also music videos, concerts and films playing all night on the LCD TV's. And, we have weekly LP, CD and DVD giveaways courtesy of Grooves.

Bring your favourite requests, and come out for some mid-week dancing.

Underground Drink Specials (all night)

- $4 import tallboy cans (500mL) - Stella, Beck's, Lowenbrau, Boddington's, Guinness, and Grolsch swingtop bottles

- $3 domestic bottles and bar shots (gin, rye, rum, vodka); $2 before 11pm.

To everyone who made it out to last nights launch party, thanks for helping us kick off the London Underground in style!

Well, the weather was crappy

Well, the weather was crappy again last night - we're 3 for 3 in that department so far.

But so far, it hasn't stopped people from coming out to drink and dance with us, which is great!

Vinyl night

Due to popular demand, we're back in the basement for good! The sound and dancefloor are way better down there than they are on the patio.

Tonight is our very first Underground Vinyl Night. We'll be spinning records all night, and giving away lots of vouchers for free used LP's at Grooves.

As always - the best indie rock and electronic music, and the best import beer deals in town!

Islands ticket & CD giveaway

Tomorrow night (May 27), we're gving away tickets to see Islands at Call The Office on Friday, as well as copies of their new album, 'Arm's Way'.

We hope you can stop by for a couple of cans.

$3 drink blowout party

This coming Tuesday (June 3rd), we're celebrating the beginning of June with a $3 drink blowout party!

ALL DRINKS WILL BE JUST $3 ALL NIGHT LONG, including: import tallboys, import bottles, mixed drinks, tequila shots, Jagermeister, premium liqueurs, Red Bull, Scotch, Bourbon, domestic beer, water, everything else you can think of...

And because you'll get hungry from drinking and dancing, the kitchen will be selling $1 PIZZA SLICES all night as well (that's 3 slices for $3).

The manager has authorized this madness for one night only, so we hope you can make it! If you haven't been to the Underground yet, here's a perfect opportunity to check it out.
