Howdy Food Not Bombs ‘ers

It’s September and as lots of us are back to our school years and as the
temperature begins to drop, there are still always hungry bellies to fill.

An event coming up soon this month is the critical mass bike ride through
downtown London, and it would be awesome to support this event with a yummy
meal at the end of the ride. The ride is taking place on September 29th 06
at 6pm in Victoria Park at the bandshell. If you don’t have a bike that is
just fine because we will need people to be at the table.

- The cook-up will take place on September 28th at 6:30 either in my kitchen
(downtown) or if anyone else wants to volunteer their house that is just
fine too. Five people would be great for this night (I have one already…
thanks Darren)

-On the following day 2-3 people will be need for the food give away and
clean-up.

-Someone to do some postering for the event would be lovely as well.

Recently we lost the use of our lovely friend Darren Lee’s car. If anyone
with a car could volunteer for this event that would be super fantastic.

As always any canned food, utensils, bowls, cups, bottled water or
non-perishables (rice, lentils, TVP) are needed.
