Hey Food-not-Bombers!

A couple things,
First, Do you have any meals coming up? We have some produce at the Unity Project that may not be able to use before it starts to go bad (quite a bit of eggplant, snow-peas and green onions).
Second is something I was thinking about today at work... Whenever a stat holiday rolls around, there's usually a complete lack of community meals in the city. Today for example, Ark-aid which serves dinners monday-saturday seemed to be closed and there were no other meals in the city. This seems to be the situation on any given holiday. Maybe meals on stat holidays could be a good niche for FNB? It may be more of a demand then FNB could fill, but you could certainly put a dent in it!

Hey Mike,
Thanks for your advice!
Although meals we are planning so far is the demonstration aganist the occupation in Palestine in June 9th,we are definetly thiking of providing meals throughout this summer.
I'm kind of caught up with my housing situation,so I don't know if I can organize in next two weeks,but I can ask other memebers.
Holiday idea sounds really goood too. Which days are stat holidays?
