Former British ambassador to Pakistan speaks out,
" Remember this article next time you hear a politician calling for more troops to go into Afghanistan. And when you hear of another brave British life wasted there, remember you can add to the casualty figures all the young lives ruined, made miserable or ended by heroin in the UK."
Article in Daily Mail.Replace Britain with a country that also sends troops there...

I fixed the link so it was actually a link, so it didn't skip down to the article's comment section, and so it wasn't so long that it made people scroll back and forth.
For the record, you can select any piece of text in your submission and click the "Insert/edit link" button (it looks like 3 chain links). It will come up with a box asking for the URL. Then you can have a clickable "Article in Daily Mail" instead of a big long string of technobabble that people have to cut and paste (which they probably won't).
