Pride!

I have somehow managed to miss out on most of London's historic 25th Pride celebration, and as it seems, so has the londoncommons.

Not to worry, we are still in time for the parade!

The pride Parade will start tomorrow (July 29th) at 2pm at Central Spa (722 York st.), proceeds north on lyle to dundas, west on dundas to ridout.
South on Ridout to King and east on King into the JLC parking lot.

There are also several events that will be taking place today and tomorrow, all info can be found on the Pride London website.
( e.g. a pride art show at the forest city gallery running until the 29th, music, theatre.... unfortunately I missed the pride fashion show :(  )

There was also quite a bit of coverage in todays London Free Press (available here).
Interesting articles covered the fact that this year, city hall decided to donate money($2,500) to the festival, and to review their policy on flying special flags in order to raise a pride flag  at city hall for the whole month of pride!!
