Is the use of the word ‘pussy’ in context to cowardice in our modern society between adults degrading towards women?

old discussion
we've had atleast 1 discussion so far (possibly more, but I didn't look too hard) about the term "progressive" or the LC's view of "progressive"
here's one I found using our search feature, you might be interested in reading.. its a bit old, but that doesn't mean its closed, or can't be re-evaluated..

Thanks Trev,
I did find the discussion interesting but think the discussion I had in mind isn't about the website being progressive but how it's users define the term.
I am curious about references to 'the LCs view of "Progressive"': who/what is the LC? Is there a distinction between it's users and 'the LC' as a seperate entity.
Is it a collective with a common goal and ideas or a collective of individuals with different goals and ideas. With the later it would be difficult, if not impossible, to have a definition of what progressive means to the said group.
But that is neither here nor there. What would be interesting (and fun!) to explore would be the question 'what is a progressive?' to individuals on the website (but not in context to the website, please!)
Not that this is an orginal idea. Perhaps to get people thinking about what it means to them they can check out Campaign for America's Future website which is asking the same question in an American context.
For those interested please resond here

Thought some people might be interested in some peer discussions on another blogging spot on the same topic.

I think another interesting poll in the future here might be "Do you consider yourself progressive?" plus a discussion on what 'progressive' means to different people.
Another day perhaps as blogging with like minded people is more my priority these busy days despite the local attraction here.
