Masonville-Northridge Community Energy Planning Workshop - Wed. Oct. 17th

Come share your ideas on reducing London’s ecological footprint – starting with your own neighbourhood! Global warming and peak oil are beginning to have an impact on how we all live and work. Join Post-Carbon London at this free planning workshop to discuss with your neighbours how your community can reduce energy usage, carbon emissions and pollution, and encourage local food production, transportation, and a strong local economy.

Wednesday, October 17th
6:30 – 9:00 PM
London Public Library
Masonville Branch
30 North Centre Rd.
www.postcarbonlondon.ca

The Masonville/Northridge workshop is the first of several planning workshops scheduled for different neighbourhoods around the city. For info on the other neighbourhood locations and dates, see: www.postcarbonlondon.ca

I'm also interested in starting a forum discussion here on energy/transportation/food issues and solutions, especially at neighbourhood scale, since this is going to impact all of us individually and as a community.
