Egg run...soft fluffy chickens
Hello all you dirty anarchists.
Back from the crypt perhaps a little longer.
So...we have made a new friend and her name is the lovely jess. Her dad has a small chicken farm just outside of the city - st. thomas actually - he is raising some happy chicks to provide us with some tasty eggs, but sadly does not have much clientelle.
I thought it would be great fun to go for a visit and see some of our plumage covered sisters and thank them for the tastiness they provide us with. The only thing you would need to know is that since they have no hands they will not be washing the eggs for us...so some goop and crap may accompany the shell of the tasty cellular goodness...no harm done i hope.
now for the point of this rant. I was hoping to gather a small group interested in a possible greeting with our feathered friends and come back with a nice stock of pre-omelette sacrifice.
Cmon...when was the last time you saw a live chicken?
Even if can't come on the trip i'm sure someone can take an order to go for you.
So...don't have the details as of yet but perhaps some public interest may hasten the process.
anyhow...Take care all you crazy socialists and please take a shower, cuz if you smell worse than the chickens they might run away.
OOOOh...almost forgot...please bring your own egg cartons...so stock up. If you're like me i'm sure that won't be hard...for some strange reason they just seem to pile up. I don't know, some sort of strange carton vortex...

sooo...we are going to be
sooo...
we are going to be visiting the farm the upcoming weekend. Probably some time between 4-6 (thats some good activist timing; on the dot and precise). we are willing to take orders for those of you that are unable to come but hope that people can make it.
Carpooling:
it is fantastic. we would like to cram people on top of people so that the trip is worthwhile and we leave the smallest ecological footprint behind. At the same time drivers and vehicles are a well respected commodity for others without wheels so please feel free to share if able.
meeting place:
our lovely little nest (lovely kittens on site to scare...or love but they are somewhat skiddish still). Damn thats cheesy....sorry bout that all.
3 perry st. near corner of stanley and wharncliffe. don't hesitate with asking for directions if your memory of street names is a wonderful as mine.
The tasy eggs:
and they are quite tasty. the yolk is slightly brighter than most eggs purchased in big box stores. the price is $2.50/doz
UUMMMM:
any details lacking plese ask, or yell if you must

yay.. happy chickens..
i want to go meet and greet these egg spewing amigos!!
well well
well then....i suppose its just us
and i told jess to accomodate 500 - 1000.
but in reality she said she could accomodate 10-15 people. during the trip there would be the opportunity to feed and water some of the fluffies...i suppose you could clean out the coop as well if someone so wishes.
weekends seem to be best and there was an opportunity for this saturday at 4 but im sure that is too short notice for most.
anyhow...the opportunity remains for another time. eh...cmon

"eh...cmon" was the clincher. let me know if you are still planning on going this saturday. A bit later would be better for me though.
