whats this OFFLINE bizniss?

NOTICE of EVICTION plan ahead, and be safe!   The Londoncommons.net is about to undergo the long awaited upgrade to drupal 5.x (wait, whats this?)..  currently we use... blah blah blah..  okay okay, lamens terms....   we're getting a face lift, with the added bonus of new features.  some of those features will be chatrooms, audio playlists, photo albums, buddylists, and even a participation points.   what will happen is the site will have to come down for atleast a day, while we upgrade everything.  Your user accounts and all the content already on the site will remain.  You may not recognize the site when its back online, but its the same stuff, but better.  (just look for the logo! haha)   We've been working pretty hard over the past (year???) while on this, and have come to some nasty hurdles that needed that little extra to get over.  We would like to call this "londoncommons.net 2.0 beta" .. there will be some stuff that will need to be tested by the larger group before the "beta" title is dropped, but this simply means have fun trying stuff out and if you encounter anything please forward it to the dev team (currently, myself, jeremy mcnaughton, and thomas czermack).     we're also going to be working on site documentation once its up and running, and will encourage user's help in writing it.   so, when you see the "we're sorry, this site is offline"  don't fret, we're just turning down the suck..and makin it better (crankin this beast to 11).   we also expect to be thanked with large boxes of donuts, and maybe tacos... since all this is being done by volunteers, please don't over react if something isn't working right, or doesn't look right.. let us know, and if we have more time and energy it'll be fixed..   sincerely the LAN party guys (nerds)    p.s.  in the meantime, bookmark this page     <embed src='http://us.i1.yimg.com/cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/player/media/swf/FLVVideoSolo.swf' flashvars='id=4928178&emailUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.yahoo.com%2Futil%2Fmail%3Fei%3DUTF-8%26vid%3D1433799&imUrl=http%253A%252F%252Fvideo.yahoo.com%252Fvideo%252Fplay%253Fei%253DUTF-8%2526vid%253D1433799&imTitle=Inmate%2BThriller&searchUrl=http://video.yahoo.com/search/video?p=&profileUrl=http://video.yahoo.com/video/profile?yid=&creatorValue=c2FuanVfZW1hdHJpeA%3D%3D&vid=1433799' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' width='425' height='350'></embed>
