Debut of "Our Nation": Thurs. @ Old East Studios

If you like any of the following bands, you will want to come to this show, b/c that is what we (Our Nation) sound like: Sigur Ros, Silver Mt. Zion, Sonic Youth (cf. "Death Valley 69"), Grizzly Bear, the moodier parts of Blur's "13", Explosions in the Sky.

Our Nation will be playing with The Yage Letters, Madripor, and This Ends Now this Thursday (Feb. 21) @ Old East Studios (755 Dundas; across from the Embassy). All these bands are well worth $5, which is how much the show is going to cost.

Our Nation includes members from Olenka, Sick Friend, birdsacrosswater, Pale, the one behind the many, Harvest Chant, ladies magazine plot mascarade, and other great projects.
