City of London Waste Managment Survey
I was searching the City of London website for information on the bylaw that I heard was passed this week, approving the addition of more blue box recyclable materials in London.
I haven't found info on that yet, but I did find a site that describes their proposed "waste diversion roadmap" and there's an online survey you can take to let the city know what your desires are in the way of recycling initiatives. So I think we should all take a few minutes and tell the city WE WANT COMPOSTING, MORE RECYCLE LEVELS IN THE BLUE BOX, AND A STRICT GARBAGE BAG LIMIT PER HOUSEHOLD!
http://www.london.ca/d.aspx?s=/Garbage/diversionplan.htm
In the first paragraph theres a link that says "click here" that will take you to the survey. You don't really have to read the proposed "road map", all the info is stated in the survey.
Thanks!
I cant wait till this city has a green box program!

Jennifer: I previously
Jennifer: I previously posted here and here on LC about this. And you didn't find the bylaw because although Jay Stanford's recommendations were endorsed by ETC at it's most recent meeting, the ETC report doesn't get to Council until it's meeting on the 24th. I encourage you to listen to the audio recording of Jay's submission that I posted on the net, and I'd be very pleased to hear anything more that you've got to say on the topic.
Jay Stanford's 2008/03/17 ETC Submission.
