I made a simple but very important revision to my blog on the GPC - about two days ago - and it still has yet to appear on this site. What is the deal here? Is the post being reviewed by someone that determines when and whether posts will appear? I would like to have this explained. To me it amounts to censorship if my revisions cannot appear instantly. Why do they need to be edited or reviewed?

spam again
The spam filter marked your essay about the Green Party as spam yet again (I'm guessing you edited recently?).
So I made some small changes to the site so that when someone is constantly having their content marked as spam, we can tell the site to bypass the spam filter for them. Your account no longer gets the spam filter applied to it, just please don't start selling prescriptions and car loans
.
Thank you
Mike and Rachel: thank you for your speedy responses. If and when I run into difficulties again I will PM one of you. Cheers.
Found'em
I found it in the list of unpublished articles, I'm not to sure why it was there. it may have just been flagged by the spam filters for some reason, but i don't know for sure. It's been published. i also found a comment of your's in the approval queue. (http://londoncommons.net/node/5620#comment-9170). It's been published too. Again, I don't really know why it didn't get published, but again i'd suspect the spam filters... Sorry for the trouble.

Pretty sure it was the spam filters
I looked at the post and i think sheere number of links in references and bibliography tripped the spam filters.

oops
god damn newfangled technology.
I love the spam filters because, well, they seem to work.
But apparently they have a mind of their own and seem to be randomly marking things as spam. I think toban was having that same problem.
Sorry dude.
I will make more of an effort to check the spam logs for wayward articles and comments.
Also, if this happens again, shoot me a p.m.
I check the site regularly, and should be able to ensure that your stuff doesn't stay hidden for this long again.
peace,
