Pretty in Ink Printmaking Studio is pleased to present London’s 2nd Annual Tattoo Artist Exhibition. There are ten local tattoo artists featured in this exhibition, and the works range from painting and drawing to sculpture and photography.

Tattoo artists are an extremely talented group of visual artists who are often overlooked in fine art settings. This exhibition focuses on their abilities, acknowledging the skill and experience required to tattoo and how it translates into their art. Artists participating in the exhibition include: Dave and Shawn of Hanger 18; Rich of Lucky Devil; Shawn, Dane & Anthony of True Love; Jacqui & J.P. of Addictive; Ned of Endless Boundaries and Dana of Perfect Image.

This year the artists’ will be working on a series of drawings, which will be created at Pretty in Ink during the opening reception. Participating artists’ will take turns working on each drawing, creating a series of collaborative works that have been altered and influenced by each artists individual style and interpretation. The drawings will be auctioned off at the end of the evening. This project was inspired by the ArtFusion Experiment; more info is available at http://www.artfusionexperiment.com/.

Pretty in Ink Printmaking Studio is London’s only open fine art printmaking studio. We strive to increase public awareness and interest the print medium by providing a professional non-toxic environment in which to create prints. The Pretty in Ink Gallery is committed to supporting local print artists, and emerging artists in all mediums, as well as revitalizing arts and culture in the downtown area. Pretty in Ink offers a creative atmosphere for London and area artists, offering a unique artist run print facility and gallery.
