RSF and LWAC

Hello All!

I am writing on behalf of the London Women’s Artist Cooperative. We are a group of women that seeks to encourage other women to embrace their creativity as well as empowers women to use their artistic talents as a form of resistance to our oppressive patriarchal society. We are excited to be participating at the Regional Social Forum, June 1-4. We hope to provide participants with a space for creative outlet and collaborative work. I am sending out this message to firstly encourage you to come out to the Regional Social Forum (www.regionalsocialforum.ca) and secondly to encourage to donate to LWAC.

What we need

-         material donations

o       paint

o       paint brushes

o       markers

o       pencils

o       pastels

o       yarn

o       knitting needles

o       etc.

 (please contact Julia (juleskerr@gmail.com / 913-0645 or Melissa Melissa@londnindie.com / 936-2063 to arrange drop off/pick up, or just bring your goods with you to the RSF)

-         Art and craft donations, which we will sell at the RSF to cover LWAC material costs

-         Literature

-         your lovely ideas, creativity and participation.

Lastly, if you are unable to make it to the RSF, we are hoping to through an all woman art party, with the date tentatively scheduled for June 8th, in the evening. Keep that date free, we will confirm after the RSF.
