Shari Lazenby is an up and coming artist who has been inspired by some of her travel with colour and texture playing a major role in her paintings.
She usually takes a photograph and then expands on the idea.
She has also been influenced by the Group of Seven and some of the artists from the Expressionist and the Impressionist periods. She loves their use of colour and their freedom with the brush. She has been painting for about five years since finishing school. She spent three years studying Fine art at Fanshawe and three years studying art at the University of Windsor.
