10th Annual Dig Deep! for YOU Beach Volleyball Tournament

Hey folks, please consider supporting this fundraiser.  Youth Opportunities Unlimited is an amazing local non-profit organization in London.  We run the Youth Action Centre at Dundas & Richmond, which is the only youth drop-in centre for street youth in the downtown core.  Proceeds from this event go to support programs for youth including: outreach supports, service access at drop-in centres, basic needs supports including food, housing, and hygiene, and employment counselling for young people.  We have purchased a new building at Richmond & York which will be the new home of the Youth Action Centre, an alternative education classroom, a youth-run internet cafe, and 28 units of affordable housing for youth.  Much of the proceeds from Dig Deep will go towards the new building.

Youth Opportunities Unlimited Fundraiser is Back to the Beach!

Volleyball players this is for YOU! Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) is back to the beach for the 10th Annual DIG DEEP! For YOU Beach Volleyball Tournament, Saturday August 16th, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at G.T.’s Beach Bar and Grill, Port Stanley.

Competitive and co-ed teams of four and six players will square off on the beach. All teams registered will be guaranteed four games (eight matches). Registered players receive a complimentary continental breakfast and the chance to win great prizes. Games start at 9:30 am. The tournament wraps up with the awards ceremony at 5:30 pm. Teams registering before July 15th are entered in a draw for the use of a courtside VIP tent the day of the event.

All tournament proceeds go to programs and services for youth.
