Save our Forest City!

Let's save our city from big box sprawl! This is a public rally to call on our city and Londoners to save our forest city and help build a healthy and vibrant community. Smart?Centres plans on building several more of their big box mega-stores that will crush small businesses and push unsustainable urban sprawl (go to http://www.smartcentres.com/ for details). One of their proposed locations is right beside Meadowlily woods, an important remnant of Ontario's endangered Carolinian forests. Meadowlily is supposed to be protected as an environmentally significant area. We can't let this happen! No Big Box for Meadowlily Woods! No more sprawl! No more Wal-Marts! Support local independent small businesses! SAVE THE FOREST CITY BEFORE IT BECOMES THE BIG BOX CITY!
