A Chance To Redeem Some Canadian Values

Please take a minute to copy and paste this into your e mail and send it to everyone you know. (I know, i know, forwards, but this is a good one)  Together we can make a difference.

There exists broad community support for U.S. Iraq war resister facing deportation
in London, Ontario

On Thursday October 9th, the Canadian Border Services Agency denied
U.S. Iraq war resister Matt Lowell's request to stay in this country,
deciding instead to deport him to the United States effective Tuesday
October 28. A broad range of Londoners, from religious leaders and
trade unionists to business people and politicians all agree that war
resisters like Matt Lowell should be allowed to stay in Canada.

Canadian Values that the conservative government cannot kill no matter how hard they try are those of welcoming war resisters and keeping peace, not waging war on countries for oil.  If every one of you take 5 to 10 minutes out of your day to sign this and pass it on, it will hopefully help to restore some of the Canadian values back to our country and assist an individual that chooses peace over war.
