yo. the next general meeting for the feminist action folks is on.

things on the agenda:

- updates on working groups

- what went down at the rise of the right wing workshop and direct action meeting?

- screening of Voices of Diversity (parts of it anyway)

- i would like to say a few words (discuss) about languages of power and hierarchies

- any other topics?

just in case you don't know - empowerment is located at 636 queens ave. -

just a reminder that F.ACT meeting are still women's only.......and that if we are at empowerment until 11pm, we're prolly just hangin' out after 8.....meetings usually don't go longer than a couple to max three hours

Anti-oppression mtg

Hey Mike,

the invite to the FACT general meeting probably was a mistake HOWEVER there is a FACT working group about planning an anti-oppression workshop that IS open to men. We are meeting this afternoon at 5:30 in the Little Red Roaster seating area at the Cenral Library.

You are welcome to come (sorry for the short notice, I tried to post yesterday but Internet exporer was not letting me)!
