Grass Roots: EVAC Opening!

The London Artist Co-op is a collective of emerging artists, musicians and activists working together to create changed in the developing community of East London, Ontario. The community which creates the cultural lanscape of Old East London is comprised of those who are both creative and insightful and deserve to have access to a free artistic space that encourages the creation and dissemination of local and international art. The co-op will play host to a wide variety of visual art exhibitions, music shows, workshops and classes, all of which will be facilitated by members of the community. The East Village Arts Workers Co-op (EVAC) is a cooperatively and democractically run space that will reflect the individual and collective needs of the immediate community, making a sustainable long term project which will be accessilbe to anyone without prejiduce.
