Where do you like to eat? My favourites are Flavour's Diner, Falafelli's, and the bureks from Hot Oven in the "market."

Ci!
Rincon Latino is my favorite latin place so far because they have papousas for only 1.75, they're spicey and delicious and taste just like in El Salvador. For the unintiated papousas are flour or corn tortillas stuffed with beans or yummy meat concoctions. Rincon also serves massive cups of mango juice too. New Delhi Deli is good for me because i am passionately in love with all things india after living there for a year and the staff are always willing to indulge me in long conversations. all of the food is top notch and they sell the best mangoes in the city, but they're only around at random times in the summer, so go often!
Oh the joy of my soul, it is uncaged.
I likes...
Thai Taste, Prince Albert's, Zen Gardens... Jewel of india is pretty good too for takeout.
Thai taste is great, everything is made from fresh ingrediants, and made fresh to order. Its on the south side of dundas just a few doors west of Lyle.
whats that little latin american place on Richmond st between dundas and king? its pretty good too...

Open a book before you open your mouth. <-easy now, its just a signature.
I believe....
That would be Rincon Latino.
The Delmar on Dundas by
The Delmar on Dundas by Second St.... good food, great prices.. the Paragon is pretty good for breakfast too. Smitty's off of Wellington isnt bad either, if you go to their specials day.
Food in Old South
If you're in Old South/Wortley village (and you should be) you must check out El Amanacer. They are on Wortley, just behind the valuemart. They serve central american food (el salvador) and have live mariachi on the weekends.
Not in the mood for latin american delites? Try wings and beer at the wortley roadhouse.
For pizza, Bondi's pizza (behind blockbuster on wharncliffe) is the best.
great
I have been looking for a decent central american place to eat in london forever!
(where are all the mexican food joints in this town?)
Rincon Latino is good but I am still haunted by a moldy burrito story.
Is El Amanacer expensive?
El Amanacer.
Go for lunch. Dinner can be pricey ($15-20) but lunch comes with free soup and nachos and will run you about $10-12.
My problem is with tipping. I always give about 30% because after eating there I want to give them all of my money. Seriously, you will too!
Sounds Good
El Amanacer (The Dawn) sounds like a place to go. El Ranchito on Wellington is great (and not too costly)!
Charles
good food and good politics
Like Charles, I also love El Ranchito, but I also want to give a mention to Barakat. Great food, friendly people, not expensive, and they have provided tremendous support to the peace movement over the last several years.
Lorraine
food
All of the above and Thai taste, Que Huong, Africa, Vietnam, New Dheli Deli, Zen Gardens......
the list goes on and on..
really it does..
Mmmmm
I love Zen Garden but it's prices are pretty high. I love the New Delhi Deli, Falafellini's, Ruby's (cute community-atmosphered diner), & Symposium's for it's Chocolate Cheese Cake, Most of the Covent Garden shops are cool for Organic/Vegan/Vegetarian choices....Oh and Taste of India (I think that's what it's called, the smaller of the two nearly side-by-side Indian restaurants on Richmond.
