Soft Skin - cheap, easy and natural.
I would put this in the 'health' section which there isn't one at the moment.
I have been asked to post the way that i maintain soft skin in an ethical, economical and environmentally friendly fashion. I was taught how to do this by a wonderful lady that i care so much for miss luzma. Some of you might remember her as the yoga instructor from the regional social forum.
1. Go to a health food store like 'grain and bean's' and pick up some calendula flowers (they are in the dried section) and some grape seed oil - extra virgin olive oil also works well -
2. In a grinder/ pestle and motar / or with your hands pulverize the calendual petals to a state of powder.
2 1/2. If you happen to have really bad skin - like psoriasis or eczema - i have put golden seal root in with the mixture. this is an expensive venture but if you have problem skin like i do, it can mean a major difference. ( i have cured my psoriasis without using any western medicine)
3. take a small glass jar - ie. old jam, capers or minced garlic container - and fill the jar almost full with your pulverized calendula- leaving about half an inch from the top - then fill with the oil of choice.
4. leave our heterogeneous mixture in a window where it will get a lot of light for about 4-5 weeks.
5. its probably a good idea to turn the jar upside down every week or so but this is not neccessary if you don't have the time, ability or you forget.
6. when you super moisturizing oil is ready store it in the fridge.
7. What i do is about once a week is take my jar out of the fridge and put it in the bathroom with me while i shower . this allows the perfect amount of the oil to liquify to do your entire body.
I do this about once to every two weeks......
boy are you going to enjoy touching your own skin......
